VOLTEC carries out the reengineering of the company’s end of line to support its increased production.

BRILEN is a manufacturer of high tenacity polyester yarn, which has its production plant in Barbastro (Huesca, Spain), a small village in the pre-Pyrenees area, near the French border.

It is a state-of-the-art company which has a chemistry laboratory, a polyester technological centre and a polymerisation pilot plant. These are just some of the examples of the endless list of services and R&D resources that it offers its clients.

Due to the increased production it is experiencing, BRILEN has entrusted VOLTEC to carry out the reengineering of its end of line, to absorb this increase in production.

VOLTEC was responsible for the entire project including the study of the technical solution adopted, as it was an application customised for the client, the technical management, the mechanical design and the manufacturing of it, as well as all the control and automation features of the installation.

The solution is based on a KUKA KR 120 robot and a PLC ALLEN BRADLEY platform which, together with the auxiliary mechanical features, is responsible for handling and palletising the production of the plant.
