This is a project developed under the umbrella of an Innovative Business Grouping (AEI), together with TAG Automotive, Aubay and CYP, for the Automotive Industry Cluster of Catalonia (CIAC). The overall objective of this project is to design and develop a series of functionalities to improve and optimise the set of process control and management systems that make up the connection of injection moulding machines through an ERP-SCADA-GMAO system, thanks to an OPC-UA protocol.
With the implementation of the proposed solution, the aim is to achieve an improvement in the management and control of the automotive industrial environment, with the objective of developing a series of transversal systems and platforms that improve the capture, processing and transport of large amounts of data, achieving the interconnection between different systems and guaranteeing the traceability of all parts and components throughout the value chain. This digitisation also translates into a significant increase in productivity, reduction of preventive maintenance tasks, and implementation of solutions for task management, work orders, production, etc.
