VOLTEC has been chosen by INVESA for automating their end-of-line provider.
Invesa (Industrial Veterinaria, S.A.) is a pharmaceutical company veterinarian Animedica Group, with over three decades of experience, dedicated to the development, manufacture and distribution of pharmaceutical and nutritional quality products for animal health.
The products are manufactured in Europe Invesa. The head office and production unit are located in Barcelona (Spain). The company has over 130 employees worldwide. Invesa operates in different markets: Spain, Europe, Asia, America, Africa and Middle East as well as in Russian and Soviet exrepúblicas market, allowing it to be present in more than 94 countries. In their search for improved efficiency and quality, INVESA VOLTEC entrusted to automate their end of line, which includes the packing and palletizing of products off the production line.The project has been a major challenge because of the limited space available for the application, requirement Outdated providing application also of great versatility, since the robot handles the same packing and palletizing of different product formats. VOLTEC has made the entire project including the study of the technical solution adopted, since it has been treated as a client application, the technical, mechanical design and manufacture thereof, and all the elements of control and automation installation. The solution is based on a KUKA KR 180 robot R3200PA, which together with all auxiliary mechanical elements is responsible for the manipulation of plant production.
The application includes control of product quality from the production line with 4 machine vision systems Cognex OCR , checking the correct labeling of products, a forming automatic boxes, a pooling of bottles / bottles, a robot for embedded bottles / jugs, one sealer boxes, automatic labeler inline boxes, which are racked by own robot fitted, plus all the ancillary elements of the installation, including security systems.
