Voltec Electro Sistemes, S.L. has assumed the implementation of automation and electrification of the new Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) of Térmens-Menàrguens two leridanas populations will have one treatment plant to treat wastewater generated. The work, which has a budget of almost two million, is in collaboration with ACSA construction and has been promoted by the state society of the Mediterranean Basin, ACUAMED, under the Ministry of Environment and Rural and Marine .
The Voltec involvement in the project focuses basically on the turnkey installation of the plant. The Lleida company is responsible for the engineering and control system. A system based on ALLEN BRADLLEY LOGIX platform and is composed of a network of PLC and SCADA. In addition, Voltec perform wiring low voltage of the treatment plant. A plant designed to have sufficient capacity to treat wastewater from both populations, both at current levels and future growth.
The project includes the collection of sewage and their union Térmens with water from a new collector Menàrguens. To achieve this will also implement a collection network consisting of six sections (one driven and the rest by gravity) so it will be necessary to build a pumping station. This move sewer wastewater from the two municipalities to the new plant located in the municipality of Menàrguens. A new plant that will house three phases: pre-treatment, biological treatment and sludge treatment.
